What do I need to place an ad?
You will need: Your logo (if applicable), any photos you want on the ad, as well as a short description. If you aren’t sure of the wording, write: (Please re-write) in the description. Please provide your phone number and billing information as well.
In what format do I submit logos, photos, and pre-designed ads?
– Logos are preferred as a PDF. (Note that a flattened PDF, a scan, or a JPG converted to PDF will not work. Once a PDF is flattened, it becomes a single-layer, non-editable document that affects the resolution.) JPG, JPEG or PNG is also acceptable, with a minimum resolution of 1000 pixels on the shortest side.Â
– Images:Â JPG, JPEG, or PNG at least 1000 pixels on the shortest side for maximum clarity
– Pre-designed ads: If you want us to edit your pre-designed ad, you must send it as a non-flattened PDF. You may also send it as a PNG, JPEG, JPG (shortest side greater than 1000 pixels).
How do I pay my bill?
Once the book is published, your invoice will be emailed to you, where you will be prompted to submit a payment via credit card online. If you prefer paper billing, please call La Crete Online and let us know. You can also pay in-store with cash, cheque, credit, and debit.
What is the refund policy if I choose to cancel my ad?
You can cancel your ad at any time. Once you cancel, we will stop charging your account for the following billing cycle. If you cancel an ad after a deadline, your last issue will be billed out once the book is mailed out. View upcoming deadlines. All classifieds non-refundable. We cannot refund promotional offers with a locked-in agreement.
Can I design my own ad?
Yes, you can design your own Half or Full Page ad. Small and Quarter Page Ads are designed by La Crete Online only.
Ads that do not meet the La Crete Online design requirements will be subject to a re-design. There is no additional cost for this. See Proofs and Revisions for more information regarding re-designs and pricing.

If you plan on making your own ad, take advantage of our Full Page Ad Template and Half Page Ad Template in Canva to create it in the exact dimensions. Please note, we only accept Half Page and Full Page pre-designed ads.

Proofs and Revisions
– All ads include 1 hour of design time. Charges apply for additional design time. Each ad includes 1 free round of revisions. Please include ALL changes in your free revision. After the second proof has been sent, revisions thereafter will be $10.00 per proof.
